Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Services
Miacloudtech is a West Sussex SEO agency offering organic search engine optimisation services to bring you long-term growth improvement. Organic refers to the results which are not the paid ads. We offer SEO to all websites we design as well as offering search engine optimisation as a separate service
for your existing website.
Our Organic SEO Packages
Our organic SEO service will include a thorough site audit and thoroughly optimising your site's coding and content and Miacloudtech will
set up accounts for the client on Google My Business, Google Maps, Twitter and Blogger, if they do not already have one, and post one initial entry in each
with some keyword-rich text content and backlinks. Miacloudtech will create a comprehensive XML sitemap with all pages in the client's website and submit this
to Google's Search Console.
Miacloudtech will set up a Google Analytics account (which is free to set up) so the client can view web statistics including unique visitors and
which pages have been visited.
We have enabled our clients to acheive first page position in Google's organic results
with many being in the top 5 on the first page. It takes approximately two to three months for Google to fully index most sites, depending on the number of pages.
All websites designed by Miacloudtech are designed to be thoroughly optimised for the Google search engine, including all website coding and content and initial backlinks.

Miacloudtech Has Proven SEO Success
One of the sites Miacloudtech's founder Matt Herbert has previously worked with is West Pier Telecom, a leading telecommunications provider in the UK. If you type "cloud telephony"
followed by a location West Pier often appears on the first page of Google.
For example, at the time of writing the following results were achieved:
"cloud telephony london" →
2nd place in Google
"cloud telephony brighton" →
1st place in Google
"cloud telephony edinburgh" →
1st place in Google
Another client Miacloudtech worked with was DMJ Building and Roofing, a leading builder and roofer in Horsham, West Sussex, where we designed a completely new responsive website focussing on SEO and the following keyword phrase is now achieving good results (results below are at the time of writing and may have changed slightly):
"builder and roofer horsham" →
1st place in Google
"building and roofing horsham" →
1st place in Google
"building and roofing west sussex" →
2nd place in Google
It takes a while (sometimes a week or two up to a few months) to see search engine results but time spent is definitely worth it long-term.
The key factor to bear in mind organic search engine optimisation focus is for long-term growth. Results are not seen over night or even a week later. The results take months.
This is down to how Google's search algorithms work. Rest assured though the benefits will be big if you are patient. If your website has good relevant, quality content, updated regularly, optimised for SEO,
it will achieve good results. Other variables do affect this such as how competitive is your market place. If there are 100,000 other competitor shops in your local region, then it will be harder to rank as well compared to if you have 1,000 competitor shops in your local region. However that should not put you off.
The key is having regularly updated rich content to set your site stand out above the rest.
How Does The Search Engine Optimisation Process Work?
The key to coming high in Google is to first thoroughly
optimise the website coding and content for several main keyword "phrases". Individual keywords are not as important as they used to be. It is the "phrases" which are crucial. The phrases must ideally match what a visitor may type into Google to find your site or services.
Good relevant content must be added to the website regularly, at least once a week. The more relevant content you have on your pages the more likely Google is going to view that page as relevant to a user searching for services that you offer.
The content must be good "quality" with lots of information and not duplicated content. It must flow and be worded well and not be flooded in keywords. Google is clever enough to tell when text content is deliberately trying to mis-lead it.
Lot of content must be added which is location-specific. One of the popular ways a user searches for products or services on Google is to associate it with a particular location, for example, "baby products shop West Sussex".
An XML sitemap also has to be created and submitted to Google.
The second half of the process is setting up as many external
website links
back to their website. These are called "backlinks". Backlinks can be created for free on sites such as web directories
(for example freeindex.co.uk, DMOZ etc), Google My Business, Youtube, Twitter, social media,
message forums, blogging sites, and any other external websites. It is very time-consuming but both are extremely vital parts of the optimisation process.
Organic Search vs Paid Search
Organic search traffic comes from people clicking the Google results which are
not paid adverts, often seen at the top of the page or at the bottom (they used to appear down the right-hand side too). Paid search traffic comes from
people clicking "pay-per-click" or sponsored adverts, often from a Google Adsense advert or Google Adwords advert where a business has paid for the advert to appear in Google.
Businesses pay each time a user clicks that "Google ad", whether or not they go on to buy something.
Organic search results are only displayed if Google's search algorithm thinks that the website behind the result is
relevant to what the user has searched for.
A Google advert only displays based on how the business paying for the advert has configured the ad. Paid ads can be very effective if configured the correct way
but they can also cost a lot of money. A lot of time has to be spent creating multiple ads so as to avoid a "generic" appearing each time. A "tailored" Google ad, relating to keywords a user has searched for will get far more
traffic than a generic ad which may not look as though it has anything to do with what a user has searched for.
Organic results will always appear relevant to what a user has searched for.
The benefit to paid ads is that they will be displayed very quickly. Organic results take a few months to appear due to how long Google takes to index sites and pages.
The disadvantage to a paid ad is that it costs, and costs a lot if there is steep competition but it will be displayed in a few day's time so you don't have to wait that long.
However the advert is also not displayed throughout the day, unless the business paying for the ad campaign specifies a large daily budget.
Organic Google results are completely free and displayed all day and all night and first page results gain
a lot of traffic.
Savvy users looking for something on Google may also avoid ads because they instinctively know it is less relevant to them.
In summary, it comes down to how much time you wish to wait for your site to get ranked but when it does appear, and if it appears in the top 5 you will gain a significant amount of traffic
and if going for a paid search engine marketing campaign, how much you are willing to spend, and being prepared that your ad will not be displayed at all times and that each
ad must be tailored to what a visitor wants to see (which can be very time-consuming). But if done right a paid advert can be very cost-effective and see benefits very quickly.
